The Century Gallery is proud to present the work of 15 independent artists, working within different media and different artistic notions. Interesting relationships arise in spite of, but also because of, their dissimilarities. The variations within both the artistic intent and the media, bounce off each other to create juxtapositions that are fresh and intriguing.

This is a show that is outside the confines of a 'themed' exhibition, and by placing them outside of this frame, these works appear to belong to nowhere and everywhere at the same time. They fall into the unspecified category. Thus, one can expect to find anything.

“And we did look. Several days of intermittent poking about in the dungeon-like cellar produced many dead wine bottles, a large accumulation of Chinese take-away containers, and other miscellaneous debris, but no door — and we were looking for something bright orange and about the size of a trade paperback.  We'd about decided we were going to have to bite the bullet and order up a new one when Scott decided to have one last look...”
Katherine Kurtz, The Ghosts of Holybrooke, 1996
